Delays can be expected on all routes from "London and the North" due to long term roadworks and heavy traffic around Ringwood where the A31 and A338 merge for about a 1.5 miles.

"Advance notice"

From early January until mid/late November there will be major roadworks around Ringwood.  This WILL caus emajor congestion with projected delays of 30 minutes.  Bearing in mind that it can take 60 minutes or more to get across the New Forest from the M27, especially on a Friday afternoon, one can only assume that this projected delay is in addition to that currently encountered!

Be aware of average speed limit cameras on parts of these roads.
